Welcome to Prince of Wall Street

I’m incredibly excited to launch my first attempt at blogging with the launch of the finance blog, Prince of Wall Street. I am a senior at a prestigious college (i.e. think Williams, Harvard, Princeton, Amherst) awaiting the start of my first full-time job as an investment banking analyst at a prestigious bank (i.e. think Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs). I will be commenting on finance and business news topics. I will also share some trading ideas that I have in my portfolio and the rationales behind the themes that motivate my trading ideas. I will also be sharing my life as a lame-duck college student and a future investment banker. I spent three summers working for an investment bank and I signed on to work full-time in the Financial Sponsors Group (was the hottest group but given the credit markets, it looks like I should of joined the M&A group). I lead a pretty interesting life spending time all over the U.S. but primarily in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Colorado. Hopefully, I will be able to share some of the humor that goes along with working in banking and give prospective junior investment bankers some perspective on what life is really like as an analyst. I spend so much time readying finance and investing blogs and newspapers that I thought it was time I ventured out on my own with a blog to share my point of view and my life with the world. So essentially I have no qualifications but it should be interesting nonetheless.  Enjoy.
